GalegoLab is a non-profit organization, launched in 2010, whose goals are to boost realistic initiatives for the promotion of the Galician language. GalegoLab is an independent organization with no links to institutions of any kind (be they political, religious or governmental).
GalegoLab believes in the importance of sharing and in a bottom-up approach, and considers target-emergent cultures and everyday life situations to be particularly important.
Its main associative tool is this website, GalegoLab, a crowdsourcing network for raising community support for its own actions and for those proposed by website users and other groups.
Crowdsourcing is the combination of work and resources provided by a large community of people through a website and with a defined goal.
The GalegoLab website's goal is to promote new, original ideas for action in favour of the Galician language, to coordinate resources for those actions, to implement them and to disseminate their results.
